Chortle: Love Theme
Seeking short humor pieces (600 words or fewer) with a funny, unique POV on romance, dating, love, or relationships. Formats include satire, parody, lists, fake articles, and absurdist pieces similar to McSweeney’s or The New Yorker’s Shouts and Murmurs. No personal essays or short fiction.
Payment: $100.
Deadline: February 6, 2026.

Little Somethings Press: Motherhood Anthology
Seeking poetry, prose, and art centered on motherhood — both the joy and the trauma. Contributors will receive a small honorarium and a contributor copy. The anthology will be launched at a community event at the Tempe History Museum in May 2026, featuring readings by published writers.
Payment: Small honorarium.
Length: Poetry under one page; prose under 500 words.

The Suburban Review: Aftermath
