I say it every week, but it’s true. Monday is just such a good day to find new work. Hiring managers & editors are just opening their inboxes, and you get to arrive right at the top of it by pitching or applying at the right moment.
It looks like lots of opportunities are still coming through. We’re sharing well over 200 a week right now which, given all current AI debacle, is a great sign for the future.
AI raises the floor for writing, but it creates such generic slop that it should be easy for working, professional writers to rise above it. So a top tip: don’t use it to pitch or write with! Trust me, everyone can tell. And as 2026 gets towards its close, more and more people know how to spot it too.
